Bring together five (5) local Chefs + celebrity Chef Lynn Crawford and you will invariably have a long list of guests who are clamouring for a place at the table. This event happened to feature a table that is 220 feet long!
How about a single tent to cover it, while still maintaining a proximity to the outdoors for all guests, to ensure they are fully engaged in the rustic scenery? Handled with ease.
Each course was prepared with local produce and meats, paired with wines provided by Inniskillin. Entertainment was provided by local musicians and two dessert courses were prepared by local culinary school students. A true showcase of talent across the board for Guelph and surrounding areas. Tents (dining and catering), tables, dishware and catering equipement provided by Affair Tent & Event Rentals.
All proceeds of this gastronomically inspired charity event (which included both silent and live auctions - the latter presided over by Chef Lynn Crawford) went to the support of local charities in Wellington County.
Casual, refined dining, with a focus on local food made for a mouth watering event that will not soon be forgotten.
